Student Research Project
The research is formed by a vast variety of members, each with different skill sets that benefit the progress of the project which consists of developing a one of a kind UAV for the purposes of Search & Rescue.
The project is divided into different teams or divisions. Each team has their specific tasks and goals in mind but works as a single unit. Every team compliments and supports the other for the welfare of the project's success as a whole.
Project Management
Responsible of planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of the project goals and objectives while honoring the preconceived project constraints like scope, time and budget. Defines the beginning and end date of unique goals, tasks and objectives, usually to bring about beneficial change or added value to the project. Spokesperson on behalf of the Project.
Business Team
Responsible for assisting the Project Manager in disabling the team financial constraints. Communicates with Project Management and reports every aspect and status of the team work, assistance and achievements. Works as spokesperson along with the Project Manager on behalf of the Research.
Aerodynamics Team
Responsible of calculating aircraft aerodynamic constraints and responsible for every analysis necessary for the design and manufacturing process.
Programming & Electrical Team
Responsible for the organization, management and programming of the UAV Automated System. Chooses, designs, and analyzes any and all electronic equipment.
Aircraft Structure Team
Responsible of the structural analysis necessary for the design and manufacturing process of the project.
Aircraft Mechanism Team
Responsible for the analysis and design of the aircraft control systems.
