Student Research Project
About Us
The project consists in the design, development and building of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle with autonomous self-piloting capabilities for search and rescue purposes in the commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
However, our work is not only limited to the project. We also include the service and support to students of all ages in the process of learning more about what is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
Our goal is to expand the knowledge of what is it that we do as members of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and aerospace engineering. We want to motivate students to attain careers that can help them reach sky high ambitions, where there is no limit.
Mission
We are dedicated in the advancement of new engineering ideas in UAV’s to develop an aircraft capable of locating a civilian in distress and independently fly and land near the target, recover a fictional blood sample and return back to the departing point.
Vision
Our vision is to develop members with the social knowledge and techniques with means of preparing and motivating them to flourishing as future professionals in the areas of Aerospace Engineering.
